Steroid

12 SHOTS! I'M A WINNER!

1st treatment, Jan - 6 shots (10mg)
2nd treatment, Feb - 8 shots (10mg)
3rd treatment, Mar - 8 shots (10mg)
4th treatment, Sep - 12 shots (20mg)

Wow, I've stopped for quite some time. No, it didn't hurt much. Only slightly when she injected at certain angle near the knee cap. I guess I'm used to it already. I asked the nurse "how many shots this time round?" and she hestitated to tell me. So I looked at her and she went "err... about... 8 shots?". Then I said "go ahead", and she went "actually... 12 shots". I guess she didn't wanted to frighten me. But I ended up frightening her. HAHA!

They usually give you a small number and later increase it because you can't do anything when they're at it. I remember the first treatment, the nurse went "about 4 shots?" and she later kept saying "one more", "just one more". It was damn painful then because I wasn't used to it yet. But well, its still bearable.

So the nurse spammed my knee with cold spray - some ethanol thing to numb for a while. But it doesn't work that well because you can still feel some pain. My knee still felt cold after I leave the room. After the 6th shot, she said "are you feeling okay? its turning white, just a few more okay" and she got shocked when I replied "I can see it".

So she turned and noticed me sitting up. I guess she was busy injecting and wiping blood on my knee under the surgical light that she didn't notice me. The treatment room has beds and the nurses always make you lie down because they think you're afraid and want to prevent you from witnessing the session. Maybe next time I should video the procedure down? Blood oozes out when she extract the jab - juicy!!

Will be going for band later. I'm thinking of... ... quitting band after Rondeau. I guess band isn't for me. I just can't play the trumpet well. Went out with Dad for a while after dinner last night to get some stuff and he asked "you never go judo already?" and I told him "sign me up for Aikido at their HQ!!". Haha! Nah, I doubt I will join the school club. The school's Taekwondo club seems like a failure. The "coach" is a student and she is a black belt - 1st dan only. I guess the real coach is too busy. I wanna learn Silat also! Their scissors kick!! :D Lets see what I can join...

Never accept defeat in a match. Michelle wants to win!! :) And I don't know why people still say I look fierce when my face becomes expressionless. :( Am I supposed to smile every single moment? Haha!

Band

Fugly scar! I'm going for steroids this Thursday. Wonder how many shots this time round. 6? 8? Its like something ripping my skin apart when the liquid gets in. YUCK! The cold spray itself hurts like hell - frost bite. Can't believe the numbing procedure is more painful than the injection procedure. Haha! But it wears off pretty quickly, so I can feel the pain after the 3rd/4th shot. Oh well, I'm kinda used to them already.

Band was fun today. I'm kinda disappointed because I didn't get to play Highlights from Chess today. But well, we did play PHANTOM OF THE OPERA! But it wasn't satisfying because its only a small part from The Eighties. :( There was Uptown Girls (no trumpet part), material girl, chariots of fire, billy jean, and ... ... Its quite a fun piece! :D Okay the Theme from Haydn sounds kinda boring to me. :X But its quite a challenge, all the accidentals. I suck at sight reading seriously.

Okay, I brought my trumpet home today. I'm going to disturb everyone!! HAHAHA!

Work

"PLEASE TELL IT IS VIRGIN MARY!"

I was so thristy and in a rush, I just grabbed the fresh orange juice bottle and gulped a glass full of drink down. The bottle was labelled as fresh orange juice, but the juice inside was red and it didn't taste like orange juice. I was so wols that I didn't notice it until I finish drinking the whole glass. I took the bottle out again, noticed the red colour and poured some more to taste... Gosh! It tastes like bloody mary. And I saw the drink in shooters with a celery stick on the guests' tables. So I went out and asked the sentence above. Luckily it was virgin mary or I'd be so dead - one glass full of alcohol.

Worked at Les Saveur today. I did station 1 and 2 in the morning and it was hectic - high guests arrival. I cleared the plates (buffet) and changed the table cloth and set up after the guests left. It never ends - guests just keep coming in. After changing one, you have another table waiting for you.

And I was kinda frustrated because I don't see the runner! The oval tray was fully loaded and no one came to change it. I had to go in and out to the back area to clear the plates, etc. So I went to the back area to ask for help because I can't balance the oval tray. :X

Was allocated to the kid's room in the noon after lunch. It was fun. The room was filled with those plastic balls, tables and chairs, mats, etc... And all I had to do was to play with the kids, bring them to the restaurant/washroom. So 10 kids came in, and the 6 euro kids messed up the whole place.

They started hitting the screen - Barney was on air. And the girl (about 8?) shouted: "HIT BARNEY IN THE DICK!" Hahaha! I so wanted to video that down. Barney is soooo hated. :/ I guess the kids are cousins? 3 of them had curly hair and 3 of them had straight hair.

I went to FEP after work to get my new black shoes. Hooray! The old one is ripped apart.

Yesterday's work at Capella was fun too. Okay, everything is fun to me. And I have something to confess!! I GAVE THE WRONG DIRECTIONS! Oh my, guess I got to take a walk around C again. I forgot where the spa is. :/ Okay, its near the library but I told the guest that its near The K. Its like one is left and one is right, totally different way. :/

And I brought two guests over to Cassia and I stupidly forgot the operating hours. Luckily it was open (though not serving yet), and I've worked there before so I know where the menu is. There wasn't any staff inside. I guess they've gone to help out at The K?? IDK.

Totally screwed but I have to pretend that I know whats going on. Its time to remember all these again. Haha!

Band tomorrow! Gonna borrow the trumpet home to practice. A reason to suck - I totally love this slogan! :D

Oh my, my English is getting from bad to worse.

TP is flying off to China's Disney World for 6 weeks internship. Be missed ya, and do keep in touch via MSN! 1 less reason to laugh - this guy always make me laugh for no reason whether I'm feeling bored or sometimes, stressed. HAHA! :D

Worked at C today. ~~Day~~MOONlight robbery! $98 for 4 mooncakes and tea, $128 for 12 petite snow skin mooncakes and tea. Oh my! St Regis's mooncake prices begin from $50 for 4, to $118 for 8 premium snow skin mooncakes. But well, its quality I guess.

Anyway, work was easy other than my VOICE which gone missing for a short while. ;( Its really awkward to converse with people with such voice. I was late 25 mins for work. :/ But I OT 30 mins in return for being late without being asked to do so (extra 5 mins for free!! 5 mins = 55 cents).

Time passed really fast today because I played with the coffee machine, topped up the tea leaves, coffee beans, chocolate powder... ...blah blah blah. DANG! I will be left with nothing to do tomorrow then! ;(

Oh and I took a new roll of toilet paper from the guest's toilet because of my nose. I've been going in and out of the pantry like nobody's business - runny nose. HAHA! RUNNING nose - use sport shoes instead! I bet the cleaner will be wondering who on earth used so much tissue!

It feels damn good to be remembered. Some chefs who walked pass asked where I will be working at today, the guy from The K asked if I will be at the K today thinking that I've just arrived for work when I was on my way out of the hotel (haha!), and some people from Cassia saying its been long since they last saw me, that guy from BB and that guy from in-room... ... It just feels great. Haha! Some of them even hesitated to talk to me because I tied my hair, applied make up and used contact lens today - I used to let down my hair, not apply any make up at all, and wear specs to work.

Will be at C again tomorrow from 8am - 5pm. I'd prolly be at the poolside in the morning. Its been long since I've done the poolside!! I'm feeling excited. :D

I guess thats all. 10.56 pm, I'm gonna bath and sleep now.

I want new black shoes for work! Those pointed shiny one! :D I should give up the idea of heels. Its insane. Haha! I guess I won't be blogging tomorrow or on Sunday because I'd prolly be tired - Sunday St Regis 8 am - 4 pm.

My posts seems long nowadays. Thats all for today! :D
